Position Summary:

SMH Laboratory Assistant is responsible for accurate data entry of all necessary information required for specimen processing. Qualifications:

•	High School Diploma or equivalent is required
•	Preferred education background in clinical, chemical or biological sciences 
•	3 years’ of experience in phlebotomy is preferred
•	Position requires strong computer proficiency, attention to details, accuracy, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication skills
•	Medical laboratory experience is preferred
•	Phlebotomy training/certification is required
